The Blues Blog will be our haven for the foodie, and a space where we can consistently challenge ourselves to become the best Restaurant we can. More than that, the Blog will provide a comfortable platform where the latest happenings of our shabby chic beach house can be shared with our enthusiastic customer base.
So let’s get the ball rolling.... and being a restaurant, could there be much more exciting than the Launch of our new summer menu?????
Our Eccentric (and undeniably enthusiastic) Executive Chef, Morne Botha, has put his creative cognitive ramblings to the ultimate scrutiny of the management palettes and devised a menu that not only adds his African flair to the Mediterranean theme of the restaurant, but simultaneously encapsulates the essence of our beautiful beach side summers.
Morne talks us through the creation of the New Blues summer Menu.
Modifications of Blues classics to shrug off their ‘winter warmth’, have been married with new creations that resonate Morne’s drive for creativity with the owners’ brief of ‘simple satisfaction’. The result, quality ingredients that do the legwork, finished with the flair and excitement that only Chef Morne can bring.
The New Menu will be out end of October, but teasers are present already!
In the next edition I will spell out some of our Blog plans as we drive Blues back to the top of the gastronomic chain.
