Blues Restaurant & Bar opened its doors in 1987 and has become the icon of the ultra-trendy Camps Bay.
Blues has been recently renovated to adapt its iconic location into one that encompasses the legacy on which the Blues Brand was created, while tailoring the experience to be in tune with the latest 21st century restaurant trends.
25 years on yet built on the same principles of food and service on which we began, Blues has tailored an environment for dining that glorifies the casual magnificence of our Beachfront location, with the new décor such that guests feel as though they are dining on the beach as opposed to next to it.
Service is energized, with the buzzing theatre of the open kitchen resonating through the restaurant, as the freshest ingredients are prepared to order.
The restaurant is run by the youthful duo of Lorenzo Magni & Nick Sheperd, who take the helm having risen through the ranks starting as waiters in 2005.
While sharing the position of General Management, Lorenzo conceptualizes the food dynamic of the experience, using his team of chefs to execute dishes that are in tune with our food philosophy and carrying the splendour of the seaside location onto the palettes of our diners.
Nick, encompasses all that is front of house, including the vision of the bars and service excellence. Blues strives for an efficient yet casual service demeanor with service staff charged to be interactive guides through the Blues experience.
Blues is the most beautiful seaside venue in Cape Town and has hosted local and international foodies over the years, including TV and Musical Celebrities, Sports Stars and Politicians, gaining international recognition and cementing itself as a Camps Bay landmark.
